Global cinematic experience designed to spotlight the future of BBC Natural History.

For BBC Studios’ international showcase, the objective was to create a moment that didn’t just present content; it immersed an entire arena in the world of natural history storytelling. The experience needed to feel epic, seamless, and emotionally resonant while revealing upcoming flagship titles to media leaders, buyers, and partners from around the world.

I led the creative direction and execution across concept, narrative structure, and multi-screen choreography. The centrepiece was a visually immersive film staged across twelve synchronized arena screens, wrapping the audience in a 360° journey through the planet. As the narrative opened in space, descended into the ocean, travelled across diverse continents, and finally lifted into the skies, Sir David Attenborough narrated live within the arena, his voice unfolding in sync with the evolving visuals and original score, blending footage from multiple natural history franchises, including Planet Earth, Blue Planet, and Frozen Planet, into one cohesive cinematic journey.

Original score and sound design were composed in-house using stems from the natural history catalogue, giving us full creative control over emotional pacing and allowing rapid refinement as the narrative evolved.
